When the Principal at mys kids elementary school told me the theme for her daughters baby shower, I was very excited because I LOVE Dr. Suess's illustrations. I knew I was going to hand paint the fish and was looking forward to trying something new. I cut the characters out of fondant first, attached them to the cake and then painted them with edible paint (petal dust/alcohol). I was really happy with the way it came out and the mom-to-be liked it too.
