This weekends cake for Connor turning 7.  All decorative elements fondant, except for the chocolate coins. Sand was a mixture of white, brown and powdered sugars.

Golf Ball Cake

Golf ball cake on tee with flag. Bottom half of the cake was rice cereal treats, top half is the cake. Definitely my most challenging cake...construction-wise and in terms of covering in fondant...yowza! Anyone got any tips on how to cover a sphere without getting nasty folds around the bottom?
